BOO!

I'm loving these haunted attraction assignments. The people working the haunts try just as hard to scare me as they do their other guests so I'm screaming along with them as people are jumping out at me too. If only I didn't have to use my flash...but these haunts are sometimes in complete darkness..

Behind the Scenes at Dorney Park's Halloween Haunt

It's finally October and you know what that means, lots of fall fests and spooky assignments :)

Friday night I had a really cool assignment. One of the reporters at the Morning Call is writing a feature on what it's like to work at one of Dorney Park's haunted attractions, Grave Walkers. So I got some shots of her getting her zombie makeup and then of her working the haunt, which was actually kind of tough because of the smoke machines and low light so I had to use a flash mostly which took a bit away but it was still tons of fun and I got some cool shots while dodging behind gravestones. The actors didn't realize what I was doing and kept following me around trying to scare me.

They've Got the Moves Like Jagger

Maroon 5 and PJ Morton performed last night at the Sands Steel Stage at Allentown's Musikfest in Bethlehem, Pa.

I'm not ashamed to admit it, I was bobbing up and down as I was taking these photos. Shooting concerts gives me a rush like nothing else, not even being a part of the crowd (because I'm normally in the nosebleed section, not up front ahead of the barricades).

This was the worst of the aftermath of what was probably the scariest storm I've ever seen that went down in my town. This house was just off Main St. in Lansdale a few blocks from my house this past Thursday night.
